Burning Church Forest/Book 1/Noise Machine Records/2009 Full length Review

Burning  Church  Forest  are  a  band  from  Australia  that  plays a  raw  and primitive  form of   occult black metal with  elements  of ambient  and noise  and  this  their  2009  album  "Book  1"  which  was  released  by Noise  Machine  Records.

"Chapter  1'' begins  with  avant  garde  noise  sounds  and  synths  and  a  few  seconds  alter  raw  and  primitive  sounding  black metal  guitar  riffs  make  their way  into  the  song  along  with  some  high  pitched  screams  and  demonic  growls  a  minute  later  and  as  time  goes  on  by  blast  beats  start coming in  and  halfway  through  the  song  the  music  starts  slowing down for  awhile along with  the  vocals  adding  in  some  grim  sounding  elements  and  you  can  hear  some  synths  in  the  background  and  the  song  closes  with  the  noise  elements.

"Chapter  2"  begins with  some  harsh noise  elements  and  primitive  guitar  riffing  which  leads  up  to  some  drums and  blast  beats  and  a  minute  alter  the  high  pitched  black  metal screams  start  coming in  along  with  some  depressive  and  grim  elements  and  after  a  few  minutes  the  music  starts slowing  down  a  bit  and  adding  in  demonic  elements  before  getting  fast  again  and  then   slowing  back  down  and  adding  sine  some  dark  ambient  synths and  noise  elements  as  well  as  some  evil  laughter.

"Chapter  3"  begins  with  some  dark  ambient  synths  which  lead  up  to  some  slow  black metal  guitar  and  bass  riffs  along  with  some  drums   and  after  a  minute  the  evil  black  metal  vocals  start  kicking  in  while  also  keeping  the  synths  in  the  background  and  after  awhile  deep  demonic  vocals  are  added  into  the  mix and  the  riff  remains  the  same  until  almost  the  closing  of  the song  and  it  closes  with  a more  black ambient/noise  sound.

"Chapter  4"  begins  with  some  noise  sounds  before  the  primitive  guitar  riffs  start  kicking  in  and  a  minute  alter  drums and  blast  beats  start  coming  in  which  leads  up  to  some  ritualistic  grim  sounding  black  metal  vocals which  also  throw  in  some  depressive  screams  and  halfway  through  the  song  the  guitars stop and  they  music  goes  more  into  an  ambient  direction  while  keeping  around  the  vocals  before  adding  in  some  slow  guitar  riffs  and  a  minute  later  it  starts getting  fast  and  primitive  again  and towards  the  end  the  guitars  stop  again and  the  synths take  over  along with  some  demonic  screams  and  growls.

Song  themes  cover  Satanism  and  Occultism,  while  the  production  has  a  very  dark,  raw  and  primitive  sound  with  the  songs  being  very  long  and  epic  in  length.

In  my  opinion  Burning Church  Forest  are  a  very  great  sounding  raw  and  primitive  occult  black  metal  band  with  elements  of  noise  and  ambient  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  album. RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Chapter  1"  and  "Chapter  3".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
