Vadok/Incantations Of Death And Destruction/2013 EP Review

Vadok  are  a  1  man  band  from  Massachusetts  that  plays  a  very  raw  and  primitve  form  of  occult  black  metal and  this  is  a  review  of  his  self  released  2013  ep  "Incantations Of  Death  And  Destruction".

"Prelude"  begins  with  with  some  thunder  and  nature  sounds  along  with  some  dark  ambient  synths  and  serves  as  an  intro  for  the  ep.

"Sacrificial  Blood"  begins  wit h some  fast,  raw  and  primitive  black  metal  guitar  riffs,  aggressive  sounding  drums  and  high  pitched  grim  screams  and  after  awhile  dark  sounding  melodies  are  added  into  the  guitar  riffing  briefly  and  towards  the  end  the  music  slows  down  for  a  few  seconds.

"Infernal  Inquisition"  begins  with  some  slow  guitar  riffs,  drum  beats  and  grim  sounding  black  metal  screams  before  going  into  a  more  mid  paced  direction  and  then  a  little  bit  faster  along  with  some  primitive  guitar  riffing  before  returning  to  the  mid  paced  sections  and  closing  with  the  slower  parts.

"Black  Vomit  Ritual"  begins  with  some  distortion  before  going  into  blast  beats,  fat,  raw  and  primitive  sounding  black  metal  guitar  riffs  which  leads  up  to  some  high pitched  screams  along  with  some  slower  riffs  at  the  end.

Song  lyrics  cover  Occultism  and  Ritualistic  themes,  while  the  production  has  a  very  dark, r aw  and  primitive  sound  to  it.

In  my  opinion  Vadok  are  a  very  great  sounding  raw  and  primitive  black metal  project  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre  you  should  check out  this  ep.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Infernal  Inquisition".  RECOMMENDED.
